2019 Organising Committee

The organising committee for Supply Chain on Blockchain Conference 2019 are:

Peter Robinson is a researcher and applied cryptographer working in ConsenSys’s Protocol Engineering Group on Ethereum Private Sidechains and Atomic Crosschain Transactions. He has twenty-two granted patents in fields ranging from distributed computing, cryptography, blockchain, and virtualisation to graphical password design. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology, a Masters of Telecommunications Engineering from University of Wollongong, is a graduate of the International Space University, and is currently completing a PhD at University of Queensland part-time with the thesis topic, Ethereum Private Sidechains.

Dr. David Hyland-Wood is a multi-disciplinary engineer based in Brisbane, Australia. He is currently inventing next generation blockchain solutions for enterprise use and space exploration within the PegaSys division of ConsenSys. In 2018, he led the acquisition of pioneering space technology company Planetary Resources for ConsenSys, and led the creation of the first international blockchain standard, the Enterprise Ethereum Client Specification by the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. David also serves as Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at The University of Queensland.

Dr. Sandra Johnson is an Applied Researcher in the Sidechains team of PegaSys Research and Development at ConsenSys, a blockchain software technology company. Prior to joining PegaSys Sandra worked as a Data Scientist at Flight Centre. Sandra started her career as a software developer, and after 25 years in IT, she returned to full-time study at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), obtaining a PhD in Environmental Statistics. She worked at QUT as a Researcher and Sessional Academic for 10 years.

Rob Dawson is the product lead at PegaSys, the protocol engineering group of ConsenSys. He has been building software since last millenium, and has a research masters degree in information security. Rob helps set the vision for the product development team, ensuring that they are building the best possible ethereum client, that meets the needs of the market. Rob spends his days talking to customers, engineers and the product team to help deliver on this vision. In his spare time, Rob is still a builder and his current favourite side project is submitting pull requests to the pegasys ethereum client.
